Copyright and trade marks
Owners of rights
Website text, page structure, design, graphics, databases, price collections and other original elements are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and applicable international law. Rights belong to ICG COMMONWEALTH LAW FIRM LTD, the relevant group company, an author or a licensor identified with the material.
First Offshore Ltd identifiers
First Offshore Ltd, FIRST-OFFSHORE, logos and related commercial identifiers are used to identify group services. Use in a company name, domain, advertisement, application, social profile or metadata requires written permission, except for a fair factual reference to the brand.
A company name or domain registration does not by itself create rights in another person’s trade mark. The status of a specific mark can be checked in the official UK Intellectual Property Office register.
Use allowed without separate permission
You may publish a normal link to a public page, use a short quotation with an active source link and print material for personal internal use. A quotation must be proportionate, keep the original meaning and identify First Offshore Ltd as the source.
Use requiring permission
Written permission is required to republish a substantial part of an article, copy the website design or catalogue structure, translate and distribute material, use it in commercial mailings, train models or create a database from website content, or remove authorship and rights-management information.
Send requests to [email protected] with the material, intended use, territory, period and commercial purpose.
Third-party materials
Flags, photographs, bank logos, registry extracts and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners and are used for identification, information or under permission. These terms do not grant a licence to third-party material.
Reporting an infringement
If you believe that website material infringes copyright or a trade mark, send the page link, description of the protected work or mark, evidence of authority and contact details. We will review the notice and, where appropriate, restrict access, correct attribution or contact you for details.
Governing law
These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales, including the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and Trade Marks Act 1994, subject to mandatory international rules and the rights of the relevant owner.
